New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has dismissed media reports suggesting his potential entry into the political arena by contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Gurdaspur. The 42-year-old cricketing icon clarified that his true passion lies in serving the people and reiterated his dedication to philanthropy through the ‘YOUWECAN’ foundation.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Yuvraj Singh addressed the speculation, stating, “Contrary to media reports, I’m not contesting elections from Gurdaspur.” He emphasized his commitment to supporting and assisting people in various capacities, vowing to continue his philanthropic efforts through the ‘YOUWECAN’ foundation.
