Union Minister urged investors to make use of the natural advantages of the state of Kerala for establishing industries

Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Trade and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Distribution and Clothing, said the world would follow the example of Prime Minister Gati Shakti in the coming years. Adding that Prime Minister Gati Shakti will change things, the Minister suggested that people who want to establish industrial units use the program. He was speaking at the Investors Round Table Conference hosted by NICDC (National Industrial Corridor Development Program) in Kochi today.

The union Minister of Trade has urged investors to take advantage of the natural resources of the Kerala region in establishing industries. He said the union government aims to make businesses safer and more affordable. He said the premier was very clear on the idea. Shri PiyushGoyal added that the government is spreading the message of good governance during the eight-year term of the Modi government.

Shri P. Rajeev, Minister of Industry, Kerala government, in his inaugural address said the aim was to establish lakh businesses a year. He also asked the Minister of Trade Unions to extend the Bangaluru-Kochi Industrial Tunnel to Thiruvananthapuram. Shri. Rajendra Ratnoo, Co-Secretary, DPIIT, Santhosh Koshy Thomas, MD, KINFRA, Suman Billa, Permanent Secretary, Kerala Government, Abhishek Chowdary, Deputy President, NICDC also spoke at the event.
