Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen spoke about the actor’s health in a new interview. In March, Sushmita sen said she suffered a heart attack. Sharing information about her health with fans, Rajeev said that Sushmita is “doing absolutely fine now”.
The actor called her mentally and physically “very strong” and praised Sushmita for managing her work and health along with raising her two daughters, Renee Sen and Alisah Sen.
On March 2, Sushmita Sen revealed the news of her heart attack. days after it happened. In her Instagram post, the actress said that she underwent angioplasty at the hospital. A few days later, Sushmita informed fans on Instagram Live that it was a ‘massive heart attack’ that caused a 95 percent blockage in one of her arteries. Now she is working on her web series Aarya season 3.
In an interview Rajeev said about Sushmita sen “With God’s blessings she is completely fine now. What happened was quite unfortunate, health is something which is quite unpredictable, things can happen. But touchwood is doing much better for her , she went back to work.”

He added “She is very strong mentally and physically as well. You have to be because it’s not easy to manage two kids and be an actor at the same time. I made a short film for about 4 days and had to go so much and do hard work. And here I see my sister shooting non-stop for months. It’s very taxing and it’s not easy.”
Earlier this month, Sushmita sen co-star Vikas Kumar said in an interview that she suffered a heart attack after landing in Jaipur for the shoot of Aarya 3. “A big chunk of Season 3 is done. We have to shoot some exterior scenes in Jaipur. We landed there but unfortunately Sushmita Sen suffered a heart attack. We didn’t know about it at first. We finally got to know in a few days as she revealed it to the world,” Vikas says.
He further said, “In the beginning even she didn’t know what happened. Tests were done and stuff. She found out about it later and then told the world. That’s how we met. We did one day of shooting and then we realized we couldn’t continue. By then it was clear that this was not just a matter of a day or two, but that we had to stop. So we stopped for a while.”
Sushmita sen, who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Addison’s disease in 2014, urged fans to take care of their health in a recent Instagram Live. Last month, just days after her heart attack, Sushmita left everyone stunned when she walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai for designer Anushree Reddy. She was met with a standing ovation as she turned around at the top.
