Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Shanmukh Jaswanth and his brother Sampath Vinay were apprehended by the police in Hyderabad on Wednesday, sparking speculation and media attention. However, both their lawyers and the police have provided updates on the case, shedding light on the situation.
Advocate Dileep Sunkara, representing the brothers, asserted that the truth would emerge in court, highlighting evidence proving their innocence in both cases. He addressed allegations of cheating and possession of drugs, emphasizing complexities surrounding the complaints filed against them.
Meanwhile, ACP Lakshmi Narayana clarified that the brothers have not been officially arrested and are currently in police custody for questioning. The investigation revolves around a cheating case filed against Sampath Vinay and the discovery of small quantities of ganja at Shanmukh’s residence.
The case unfolds a narrative involving Sampath’s alleged relationship with a woman, leading to accusations of betrayal, while Shanmukh’s involvement in the ganja case raises questions about his association with the substance found in his home.
