In the 5th Pariksha Pe Charcha Programme, the Prime Minister engages with students

In the 5th Pariksha Pe Charcha Programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi spoke with youngsters about impending exams. The event took place in New Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium, where PM spoke with children in grades 9 through 12, as well as their parents and professors.

In light of the country’s recovery from the COVID-19 epidemic and the resumption of offline tests, the fifth edition of the programme was very crucial. The kids, teachers, and parents who were chosen to question the Prime Minister were chosen via an online creative writing competition that included a variety of topics. From December 28, 2021, until February 3, 2022, the competition was run through the MyGov platform. The Pariksha Pe Charcha Creative Writing Competition attracted 15.7 lakh participants this year, including over 12.1 lakh kids, 2.7 lakh teachers, and over 90,000 parents.

PM responded to a variety of concerns from the children, including expectations from parents and teachers, self-confidence, and sincerity, before offering them the mantra to deal with disappointment and stress, as well as the slogan of success and delivering honour to the country. He also emphasised the need of teaching youngsters of both genders and comprehending the comprehensive NEP 2020, which would create novel channels for learning and rethinking education.

The programme, which was hosted by the Ministry of Education’s Department of School Education and Literacy, was broadcast live on Doordarshan (DD National, DD News, and DD India), radio stations, television stations, and digital media, including the YouTube channels of EduMinofIndia, Narendra Modi, PMO India, PIBIndia, Doordarshan National, MyGovIndia, DD News, Rajya Sabha TV, and Swayam Prabha.

More than 75000 Eklavya Model Residential School students and instructors from over 350 Eklavya Model Residential Schools across the country attended the event, gave their thoughts, and attentively listened to the Prime Minister’s words of wisdom on academics and how to approach exams stress-free.

The function at Talkatora Stadium was attended by Sh. Asit Gopal, Commissioner of the EMRS. The Program was largely attended by senior officers and personnel from the Ministry. The EMRS students’ joy for engaging with the PM can be seen in the videos and images they’ve shared around the country.
