OnePlus Watch 2 Unveils New Nordic Blue Edition in Europe

The OnePlus Watch 2, initially introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in February, has now expanded its color options with the launch of the Nordic Blue Edition in Europe. This new color variant adds to the existing Black Steel and Radiant Steel shades, offering consumers a wider range of choices.

Priced at EUR 349 (approximately Rs. 31,200), the OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue Edition shares the design aesthetics of the OnePlus 12 lineup of smartphones. It aims to blend style with functionality, appealing to tech enthusiasts and fashion-conscious users alike. However, it’s worth noting that this variant is currently available only in select European markets, including Ireland, Germany, and the UK.

In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Watch 2 boasts a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, ensuring crisp visuals and vibrant colors. It features a 2.5D sapphire crystal screen and offers a peak brightness of 600 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright outdoor conditions.

Under the hood, the smartwatch is powered by a Snapdragon W5 SoC along with a BES2700 chipset. This dual-engine architecture allows the device to run two operating systems simultaneously: Wear OS and RTOS. Users can seamlessly switch between the two, depending on their preferences and usage requirements.

The OnePlus Watch 2 comes equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, complemented by 4GB of EMMC storage dedicated to RTOS. This configuration ensures smooth performance and ample storage space for apps, data, and media files.

With a robust stainless steel chassis and military-grade MIL-STD-810H build, the OnePlus Watch 2 offers durability and resilience against water, dust, and splashes. It boasts 5ATM water resistance and an IP68 rating, making it suitable for various outdoor activities and environments.

In terms of health and fitness tracking, the OnePlus Watch 2 comes pre-installed with over 100 sports modes and can monitor sleep, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and stress levels. Users can sync their health data with the OHealth app, which also supports Google Health Connect services.

The smartwatch is powered by a 500mAh battery, delivering impressive battery life of up to 48 hours with heavy usage, up to 100 hours in Smart Mode, and up to 12 days in Power Saver mode. It offers a range of connectivity options, including L1+L5 GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, and USB Type-C.

With its sleek design, advanced features, and extended battery life, the OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue Edition aims to cater to the diverse needs of modern consumers, combining style, functionality, and performance in a single device.
