Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Swarved Mahamandir, a spectacular seven-floor temple located in Varanasi’s Umaraha area. The temple, with a seating capacity for 20,000 people, was inaugurated during the centenary celebration of Vihangam Yoga. The event marked Prime Minister Modi’s second visit to the temple, following his first in December 2021.

•Magnificent Design: The Swarved Mahamandir boasts a stunning design featuring 125-petal lotus domes, making it one of the largest meditation centers globally.
•Seating Capacity: With a capacity to accommodate 20,000 people at a time for meditation, the temple provides a serene and spacious environment for spiritual activities.
•Location: Situated in the Umaraha area, approximately 12 km from Varanasi’s city center, the temple covers an expansive area of 3,00,000 square feet.
•Foundation and Construction: The foundation of the Mahamandir was laid in 2004 by Sadguru Acharya Swantantra Dev and Sant Pravar Vigyan Dev. The construction involved the collaborative efforts of 600 workers and 15 engineers.
•Architectural Features: The temple features teakwood ceilings and doors with intricate carvings, along with 101 fountains, enhancing its architectural grandeur.
•Spiritual Significance: Verses of the Swarveda, a spiritual text authored by Sadguru Shri Sadafal Deoji Maharaj, adorn the walls of the Mahamandir. The temple aims to illuminate humankind with its spiritual aura and promote a state of peaceful alertness.
•Promotion of Spiritual Teachings: Named after the Swarved, the temple promotes the teachings of Swarveda, emphasizing Brahm Vidya—a body of knowledge empowering spiritual seekers to maintain a state of consummate Zen characterized by unwavering constancy in peace and happiness.
