Dr. Jitendra Singh today Addressing the 8th India International MSME & StartUp Summit

Union Minister of State (Independent Representative) for Science and Technology; Minister of State (Independent Representative) for Earth Sciences; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh today called for connecting start-ups with the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector and said the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking everything. measures including the necessary policy changes to strengthen SMEs.

Addressing the 8th India International MSME & StartUp Summit and Expo as Chief Guest, Dr Jitendra Singh said that the sector has played an important role in shaping Atma Nirbhar Bharat and added that the government has substantially increased the budget in the last eight years to strengthen the MSME sector businesses. The minister also informed that the government is encouraging unique local products to reach the global markets and in the process strengthening the Indian economy.

Dr Jitendra Singh reminded the audience of the Modi government’s commitment to ensuring the global competitiveness of SMEs, quoting from the Prime Minister’s Independence Day speech on the 15th of this month: “I also encourage the private sector to come forward. We must rule the world. One of the dreams of an independent India is to ensure that India does not fall behind in meeting the needs of the world. Even though we are an MSME, we have to bring our products to the world with “Zero Defect – Zero Effect”. We must be proud of Swadeshi.’

Referring to the opening remarks of MSME-DF Chairman Rajnish Goenka, where he said that MSMEs account for nearly one-third of India’s economy and more than 11 million people are associated with the sector, Dr Jitendra Singh said, even the Union Budget. 2022-23 presented a comprehensive package of policy announcements aimed at supporting the recovery of MSMEs, badly hit by the COVID pandemic.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, dealing with India@100, Amrit Kaal-Opportunities for Youth, said Dr. Jitendra Singh that today the youth of India are eager to turn their dreams into ideas and ideas into reality and Prime Minister Modi launched Startup India in 2015. floodgates of opportunity for them. Dr Jitendra Singh was pleasantly surprised to find a huge number of Agri MSME stalls and pointed out that a new wave of Agritech start-ups have emerged in the country in recent years and these start-ups are addressing issues related to supply chain management, inadequate infrastructure and inability farmers to access a wider range of markets. He also said that young entrepreneurs are now leaving their jobs in the IT sector and MNCs to start their own startups as these young entrepreneurs are now realizing that investing in agriculture is one of the few safe and profitable ventures.

Dr. Jitendra Singh concluded by saying that one cannot imagine India @2047 through the lens of 2022. He said that 8 years of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister gave India a vision for 2047 and laid a blueprint for the next 25 years of Amrita Kal which will witness the rise of India as a leading nation in the world. Dr. Earlier, Jitendra Singh visited various stalls of the 8th India International MSME & StartUp Expo and interacted with some MSME entrepreneurs.
