iPhone 14 series was launched  along with the new Watch Series 8 this September

At Apple’s September event, the coveted iPhone 14 series was launched, along with the new Watch Series 8, Watch Ultra and the next generation of AirPods Pro. Apple hosted an in-person iPhone launch at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino, California, with CEO Tim Cook opening the keynote.

While the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus continue with the older A15 Bionic chipset, Apple is improving the camera and adding safety features like crash detection. It also removes the SIM tray for US models of the iPhone 14 series. And yes, Apple delivers emergency SOS via satellite connection. But that’s only for the US and Canada for now.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro has a new “dynamic island” notch that will change based on the activity you’re doing or the app you have open. For example, when a music app is open, the notch displays a different kind of animation. The iPhone 14 Pro has a 48MP main camera. Sales begin on September 16 for iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Plus will go on sale from October 7. The iPhone 14 starts at Rs 79,900 and the iPhone 14 Plus is priced at Rs 89,900. The iPhone 14 Pro starts at Rs 1,29,900, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,39,900.

The Apple Watch Series 8 now has a body temperature sensor to help women know when they’re ovulating. It also comes with crash detection while driving and supports international roaming. Apple Watch Series 8 starts at Rs 45,900 for the GPS version. It will be available for pre-order today and will go on sale on September 16. Apple also unveiled the Watch SE 2, which will cost Rs 29,900.

Meanwhile, the new Apple Watch Ultra is aimed at professionals. It comes with a special 49mm case, making it one of the largest displays on the Apple Watch. It also has a dedicated action button. Apple Watch Ultra will cost Rs 89,900. It will go on sale on September 23. Apple AirPods Pro 2 have also been launched. These come with surround sound, a new H2 chip and advanced noise cancellation. They also come with touch controls that allow users to control the volume with a light swipe up or down. AirPods Pro 2 will cost Rs 26,900.
