The Australian Army Chief, Lieutenant General Richard Burr, who is on a three day visit to India starting 8th March, visited the Indian Army think tank ‘Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS)’ in New Delhi on the 9th of March 2022.
The Australian Army Chief, during his visit to CLAWS, interacted with the Vice Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Manoj Pande, who is also the Chairman of Board of Governors, CLAWS and Lieutenant General (Dr) Ranbir Singh (Retd), the Director of CLAWS.
Lieutenant General Richard Burr was briefed on CLAWS research activities and its outreach initiatives. With the aim to set up academic cooperation and engagement, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Australian Army Research Centre (AARC) and the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) on the side-lines of the visit.
