Yogi suffering from the fever of renaming places: Owaisi

Lucknow: Asaduddin Owaisi, the chief of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), said that UP Chief Minister is suffering from the fever of renaming places.

“Media reports says 45 to 200 children were died of viral fever in Firozabad in August-September. If you question Baba (Yogi Adityanath), he would say that fever hit the district because of its name. He is suffering from the fever of renaming places,” Owaisi said addressing a public rally on Saturday.

“Many people will tell you that if you vote for AIMIM, BJP will win the assembly polls,” he said mocking the Opposition in Uttar Pradesh over their defeat in 2019 Lok Sabha elections, despite their alliance with Congress and regional parties. “Why they won only 15 seats,” he added.

The state assembly elections are scheduled to be held early next year, in 2022.
