BJP has fulfilled the promise of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that the BJP had fulfilled it’s promises on construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and repeal of Article 370 of the Constitution.

“Under ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’, we have come to your city to seek blessings from you. Bharatiya Janta Party has fulfilled the promises that we made five years ago. Be it the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, or the revocation of Article 370 permanently in Kashmir,” he said. “With your blessings once again, the BJP led government in the state will make UP the leading state in the country,” the CM added.

With Uttar Pradesh slated to go to assembly elections in early 2022, BJP had flagged off ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ from 6 places. Yogi Adityanath kickstarted the yatra from Mathura, while Jagat Prakash Nadda flaged off from Ambedkar Nagar in Eastern UP. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched the yatra commencing from Jhansi in Bundelkhand and concluding in Kanpur. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched the yatra from Bidurkoti in Bijnor while MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched the yatra from Ballia in Eastern UP. Union Minister Smriti Irani kicked off the yatra commencing from Ghazipur and concluding in Amethi.
