On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and the film production company RSVP Movies delighted fans by sharing the teaser for their upcoming film “Tejas” on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Kangana Ranaut is set to portray the role of an Indian Air Force pilot in the film, and the teaser offers a glimpse into her powerful character.
In the teaser, Kangana Ranaut is seen dressed in a pilot’s flying suit, preparing for takeoff at an Air Force station. Her fierce and determined look as a woman in uniform promises a compelling performance.
The film’s makers released the teaser with a caption that reads, “She is ready to take off for the love of her nation kyunki agar Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi (If you touch India, she will not leave you). Trailer out on Indian Air Force Day, 8th October… Tejas In cinemas on 27th October.”
Speaking about the film, Kangana Ranaut expressed her enthusiasm and respect for the brave women in uniform, whose sacrifices often go unnoticed by the nation. She said, “Tejas is a film where I have the honour of playing the role of one such Air Force pilot who puts country before self. “Tejas” was initially scheduled for release in December 2020, but it has faced multiple delays. Kangana had announced the film’s release date in August 2020, emphasizing its focus on celebrating the armed forces and the heroes who make sacrifices in the line of duty. The film, directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, is now set to hit the theaters on October 27, 2023, after its release was postponed from October 20.
