Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah paid tribute to Shri Basavanna at the BasavaJayanti event in Bengalur today. In another project, Shri Amit Shah opened and laid the foundation stone for various projects including the opening of Nripatatunga University. A number of dignitaries including the Karnataka Prime Minister, Shri BasavarajBommai were present at the event. In his address, the Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation said Basavanna had set an example centuries ago of universal and inclusive democracy in the Kannada community through AnubhavMandapam. Shri Shah said during the celebration of Basavanna’s birthday he wanted to say that not only Karnataka but the country and the world must move forward in the path of peace, harmony and inclusive democracy.
Shri Amit Shah said the future of any country is built on its youth and their character. The knowledge has been continuously served for 100 years at the college and many students here have made a significant contribution to Karnataka and the country. The college has set many milestones. Since 2020, the college was known as Nripatunga University, today it has officially opened and its logo has been unveiled.
The Home Minister said this year was the year of AzadiKaAmritMahotsav (75th year of Freedom). It has been 75 years since our country gained independence and people have contributed in their own way to nation building. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had decided to mark the 75th anniversary of Freedom by marking significant events. The main goal of AzadiKaAmritMahotsav is that the youth should move the country forward by increasing the patriotism of our Freedom Fighters and knowledge.
Everyone must commit that over the next 25 years, by contributing to the development of the country, we must realize the dream of the Freedom Fighters by making India a world leader in 2047, the centenary of our independence. He said if 130 crore people make the pledge, the country is taking 130 million steps forward.
New education policy
Shri Amit Shah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced a new education policy by 2020. Its mission is to make India beautiful, to provide opportunities for the youth and to provide a platform for the youth of Karnataka and India to compete confidently with the youth. of land and contribute to the development of the world. He said Karnataka was the first country to adopt a new education policy and congratulated him on this.
Shri Shah said in the new education policy the emphasis was on developing an understanding of Indian culture. Along with this, the goal was also to make students aware of India’s responsibility to govern the world and to make India a great power of knowledge. In the new education policy, it was also emphasized that the basis of education should be the local language. He said Karnataka had set an example by establishing a team working on a new education policy.
Following the establishment of his government, 6 new central universities, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), 7 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 15 All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and new medical colleges are -209, 320 new universities nationwide and 5,709 new colleges opened. He said in view of the needs of higher education in rural areas, more than 410 rural universities have been established. The government of Narendra Modi has also established 22 new universities in the North East, and established Sindhu Central University in Ladakh.
Opportunities for new professionals
To provide opportunities for young professionals, Shri Narendra Modi has also established professional universities such as Forensic Science University, Raksha Shakti University, Rail and Transportation University. Shri Amit Shah said all the efforts of Shri Narendra Modi and his concern to make the nation the best in the world in all fields, and he has created many programs and implemented them vigorously. Speaking on national security, the home Minister said that before 2014, Pakistani-backed terrorists were invading the country every day and the response of the then government was zero and only statements were issued.
Shri Amit Shah said many issues such as Articles 370 and 35A and CAA were settled by Shri Modi. He said the date of August 5, 2019 will be recorded in Indian history with gold coins. Shri Narendra Modi ji has connected Kashmir with India forever by deleting Article 370. We have worked to make India an industrial hub by bringing more schemes into the industry, if India becomes a production hub then it is important to us from both. view points. 130 crore market for people is available and if India becomes a manufacturing hub then young people will get opportunities. He said the Government of Narendra Modi has achieved a lot in many areas and as a result, today people are raising the confidence that when the nation celebrates 100 years of independence, India will be the first in the world and no one can stop it. .
