Sanskrit education to create more jobs for students said Shri Dharmendra Pradhan University Minister of Education and Skills Development and Chancellor, Sanskrit Central University while addressing ‘UtkarshMahotsav’ here today. The three-day UtkarshMahotsav was organized by Central Sanskrit University in New Delhi from May 7, 2022. The purpose of the UtkarshMahotsav project is to promote the Sanskrit language throughout the country and beyond. Mahotsav’s focus – A New Age of Education – Continues on Global Orientation of Sanskrit Studies.
Speaking at the event Shri Pradhan said Sanskrit is not just a language, but emotions. Our knowledge and wisdom are our treasures. It is the responsibility of all of us to advance our civilization for centuries and achieve the goals of ‘VasudhaivaKutumbakam’, he added.
The Minister emphasized that, as stated in the National Education Policy, the Government has committed itself to the importance of all Indian languages, including Sanskrit. It is a major contribution to the integration of the various languages ​​of India and the universities of Sanskrit will transition into multilateral institutions, he added.

The Minister pointed out that from the time of Hiuen Tsang to the modern Raisina Dialogues, artificial, modern and Sanskrit science needs no evidence. He shared his thoughts on the revival of the Vedas language namely Sanskrit, Indian-related Sanskrit and a language-based education system. The minister hopes that the talks held during the ‘UtkarshMahotsav’ period will serve as a guide to the 21st century education system to enable India to become self-reliant and open the way for global prosperity.
