Patna: Four arrested for pelting stones and vandalism in the RRB NTPC protests

Patna (Bihar): Four people have arrested in connection to pelting stones and vandalism at Rajendra Nagar Terminal in Patna, on 24th January. The aspirants were staging protests against irregularities in the RRB NTPC stage 1 exam results.

Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh said that 6 coaching institute teachers have been named for provoking the aspirants. Meanwhile, the Union Railway Minister formed a committee to look into the concerns raised by the aspirants of alleged irregularities.

The student union AISA and other youth organizations have the termed the committee as a “hoax” and have called for “Bihar Bandh” on Friday.

AISA General Secretary and MLA Sandeep Saurav said in a press statement that the committee is a “conspiracy” to delay the matter till Uttar Pradesh elections.
