The Malaysian Ministry of Goods on Friday said it was in talks with the Treasury to look into the possibility of reducing the import tariff on palm oil by 4% -6%.”The proposed temporary reduction is awaiting a decision and we believe that Malaysian exports are likely to succeed in the short term as international buyers will receive Malaysian palm oil,” Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin said in a statement.
