Netflix has just given fans a sneak peek of Penn Badgley’s return as Joe Goldberg in the upcoming fifth and final season of the popular series “You.” They posted pictures on Instagram showing Badgley back on the streets of New York City, where it all began.
In the photos, Badgley looks just like Joe Goldberg, wearing black pants and a structured coat over a deep-red henley. He fits right into the city’s busy streets.
At a Netflix event last year, Badgley hinted at what’s to come in the new season, saying Joe would be returning to New York and facing some unresolved mysteries from his past.
In the previous season, Joe found a connection with Kate, played by Charlotte Ritchie. Fans are curious to see where their relationship will go in the final season.
Joining the cast for the last season is Madeleine Brewer as Bronte, a playwright who meets Joe at his bookstore. Their bond over literature will make Joe reflect on his journey. While we don’t know the release date yet, fans can’t wait to see Joe Goldberg back in action on the streets of New York City.
