Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi left Gundavali Metro Station for Mogra in Mumbai today by metro. He also launched the MUMBAI 1 mobile app and the National Common Mobility Card (Mumbai 1) and toured the Metro photo exhibition and 3D model on the occasion. The Prime Minister also interacted with students, daily commuters and shramjeevis involved in the metro construction during the ride.
The Prime Minister was accompanied on the occasion by Maharashtra Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Kohsyari, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shine and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister dedicated to the nation Mumbai Metro Rail Lines 2A & 7 laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and seven sewage treatment plants inaugurated on 20 hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana Road Conversion project for around 400 kilometers of roads in Mumbai .
The Prime Minister launched the MUMBAI 1 mobile app and the National Common Mobility Card (Mumbai 1). The app will facilitate travel, can be displayed at the entrance gates of metro stations and supports digital payments for ticket purchases through UPI. The National Common Mobility Card (Mumbai 1) will initially be used in metro corridors and may be extended to other mass transit modes, including local trains and buses. Commuters won’t need to carry multiple cards or cash; the NCMC card will enable fast, contactless, digital transactions, thereby facilitating the process with a seamless experience.
