“The spirit of the khadi means to get along with everyone in the world” Mahatma Gandhi. Handspun fabric and hand woven, Khadi became a tool to gather people and unite them at the order of Mahatma Gandhi thousands of people made collections to make Khadi fabric and wear comfortable Khadi. Many such legal entities became institutions that continued to be accredited by the Khadi Village and Industries Commission (KVIC) from 1957 onwards. These Card Centers are the custodians of the Card Asset.
