In a recent development, actor Kangana Ranaut met with BJP national president JP Nadda, sharing her excitement on social media. Kangana took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a photo of herself with JP Nadda, clad in a pink saree and jewellery, holding a bouquet and smiling.
Expressing gratitude, Kangana wrote, “Today met National President Honorable Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji. I will always be grateful for his guidance and support, I will work hard for the progress and prosperity of my area Mandi. Jai Hind (National Flag emoji).”
Recently, the BJP announced Kangana as the Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, her birthplace. Kangana enthusiastically shared her acceptance of the decision on Instagram, expressing her commitment to serving as a reliable public servant.
As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Kangana’s nomination adds to the political landscape. Notably, BJP has also nominated veteran actor Arun Govil, known for portraying Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut constituency.
Meanwhile, in the world of cinema, Kangana is gearing up for her upcoming projects. She will star in the period drama film “Emergency,” marking her directorial debut. Scheduled for release on June 14, the film features Kangana in the role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, alongside a stellar cast including Anupam Kher and Mahima Chaudhary.
Additionally, Kangana will reunite with actor R Madhavan for a psychological thriller film directed by Vijay, set to release in Hindi and Tamil.
