India and France Enhance Military Collaboration During 21st Military Sub Committee Meeting

The 21st edition of the India-France Military Sub Committee (MSC) meeting took place from October 16 to 17, 2023, at the Air Force Station in New Delhi. This biennial meeting played a crucial role in bolstering the military ties between the two nations and was co-chaired by distinguished officials from both India and France.
On the Indian side, Air Vice Marshal Ashish Vohra, Assistant Chief of Integrated Staff (Military Cooperation) at HQ Integrated Defence Staff (IDS), led the delegation. Major General Eric Peltier, General Officer, International Military Relations of the Joint Staff, represented the French side. Their combined efforts and expertise ensured the fruitful progress of discussions during the event.
The India-France MSC serves as a pivotal forum designed to advance defense cooperation between the two nations. It facilitates regular and constructive dialogues at both strategic and operational levels, bringing together the HQ Integrated Defence Staff from India and the Joint Staff HQ of the French Armed Forces.
The atmosphere during the meeting was marked by friendship, warmth, and cordiality. The discussions revolved around exploring new initiatives within the scope of the existing bilateral defense cooperation framework.
