Prior to 2014, corruption was considered an important part of government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Shimla and confirmed that the BJP-led administration at the institution had a policy of tolerance for connectivity. At a rally in Ridge Maidan to celebrate eight years as prime minister, Modi said that after taking office, his government cut nine fake names on the list of beneficiaries.

“It could be Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or a bursary or any other program, we can eradicate corruption by directly transferring profits.””We have transferred more than Rs 22 lakh crore to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of the various programs through direct transfer of benefits,” he said.

“Our borders are now much safer than before 2014,” he said. Regarding his government’s measures to combat the Covid epidemic, Modi said, about 200 Covid vaccines have been used in India so far.

India exported Covid vaccine to various countries and the Badach industrial division of Baddi’s Baddi industry has played a key role in producing the jab, he told the conference.”India is now extending friendly hands not by force but to help others as is being done by providing Covid vaccines in several countries, the prime minister added.
