Central government may soon issue notification to reopen schools

New Delhi: The Centre may soon issue notification regarding the reopening of schools across the country, reported ANI.

Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister has asked the National Expert Group to work on the modalities to open schools across the country.

Schools have remained shut due to Covid-19. It has been reported that the final decision to whether open the schools or not will be up to the states to decide.

With the vaccination drive is in full-swing, and 95 per cent of the eligible population already have been administered the first dose of the vaccine, the central government is hopeful that the Covid-19 spread will be on downward trend.
