(ACC & S) Ahmednagar on June 28, 2022. In the test, the ATGM struck a chord with the accuracy of the textbook and successfully achieved the target in a small distance. Telemetry systems have recorded satisfactory flight performance of the arrow.
The ATGM for all indigenous people’s uses the tandem High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) warhead to defeat Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) protected armored vehicles. The ATGM was built to be able to launch a number of platforms and is currently undergoing technical testing tests from the 120 mm MBT Arjun rifle. Targeted integration in primary schools is challenging due to the limitations of the size of ATGM-initiated tanks, which have been successfully implemented by the MBT Arjun ATGM. By testing, the ATGM’s ability to target from low to high range has been developed. Previously the tests were successful at a high level.
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO and the Indian Army on the successful trial of the Laser Guided ATGM and said the development of this program is an important step in fulfilling the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ‘of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’. He said the successful development of the laser guided ATGM will improve the fire power of MBT Arjun.
