Since its opening on December 1 with ₹63.8 crore, ‘Animal’ has seen an impressive trajectory, earning ₹37.47 crore on its first Tuesday alone, nearly three times its second Tuesday’s collection. Ranbir Kapoor now boasts his highest-grossing film, with ‘Animal’ anticipated to breach the ₹500 crore mark in India in the coming days. Globally, the film has already surpassed ₹700 crore.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the stellar cast includes Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, and Prem Chopra. The storyline revolves around Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay Singh, who displays obsessive protectiveness towards his father, played by Anil Kapoor, and is willing to go to any extremes for him.
