Air quality in Delhi continued to remain in the ‘poor’ category with 217 AQI

Air quality in Delhi continued to remain in the ‘poor’ category on Thursday morning with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 217 on the Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) AQI index at 7 am. Data from the Sameer App, which provides hourly updates of the National Air Quality Index (AQI) published by the CPCB, showed that the hourly AQI at 7 am was 217. On Wednesday, the 24-hour average AQI was 237.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 as “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 as “moderate”, 201 and 300 as “poor”, 301 and 400 as “very poor”, and 401 and 500 as ” serious”.

On the weather front, the minimum temperature on Thursday will be around 8°C, with the maximum temperature forecast to reach 26°C.
