Adani Group chairman, Gautam Adani, announced substantial investments in Gujarat at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. The conglomerate plans to invest ₹55,000 crore until 2025 and over ₹2 lakh crore over the next five years in the state.
Adani highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that India is on its way to becoming a fully developed nation by 2047. Adani also unveiled plans for the world’s largest energy park in Kutch’s Khavda, covering 725 square kilometers.
The integrated renewable energy ecosystem will include solar panels, wind turbines, hydrogen electrolysers, green ammonia, PVC, and expansions in copper and cement production. The significant investment is expected to generate over 1 lakh jobs in Gujarat.
