New Delhi: Amid the speeding up of the vaccination drive across the country, India has reported 9,195 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which is 2,837 cases higher than yesterdays’ 6,358 cases reported ANI. The country has reported 781 cases of the Omicron variant, where Delhi has the highest count with 238 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 167 case counts.
The total number of active cases currently stands at 77,002, which is 0.22 per cent of the total cases. 3,42,51,292 people have reportedly recovered. 7,347 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours.
Over 143.15 crore vaccine doses have been administered nationally. More than 64 lakh doses have been administered in the last 24 hours. Recovery rate is currently at 98.40 per cent, which is highest since March 2020. Tests and vaccination drives have been ramped up. 11,67,612 tests were done yesterday.
