Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday night extended his greetings on the Eid-al-Fitr ceremony. Sending his “best wishes”, PM Modi wished for “togetherness and brotherhood in the society”, along with “health and prosperity.”
“Best wishes to Eid-ul-Fitr. May this wonderful event promote the spirit of unity and brotherhood in our community. May everyone be blessed with good health and prosperity, ”wrote PM Modi on Twitter. Meanwhile, President Ram NathKovind also greeted the residents at the event. Greeting his “fellow citizens” on the eve of Eid-al-Fitr, the president stated that the festival “encourages the people to strive for a united, peaceful and prosperous society.”
“Eid-al-Fitr is celebrated as the end of Ramzan month. It is especially important in the distribution of food and cereals among the poor at this event. The festival encourages people to strive for peace, tranquility and prosperity.”
President Kovind continued, “With a wonderful Eid event, let us be determined to rededicate ourselves to humanitarian work and improve the lives of the poor and needy,” he said. On Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my best wishes and greetings to all citizens, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters. ”
