Tesla reopened it’s factory in Shanghai becoming “the world’s largest vehicle export” hub

Shanghai authorities have helped Tesla relocate more than 6,000 workers and do the necessary disinfection work to reopen his factory last month during the city’s closure, according to a letter sent by Tesla to local officials Told.

The letter, dated May 1 and addressed to local authorities in Lingang Special Area, Shanghai, outlined the length of the city we went to help Tesla, highlights the importance of the American automaker in Shanghai as the city tries to restart business while curbing the spread of COVID- 19. Tesla reopens his factory in Shanghai on April 19 after a 22-day suspension, state media covered the event.

Tesla thanked Lingang officials

In his letter, Tesla thanked Lingang officials for their support, and explained how the Lingang Group-owned company had organized buses to transport 6,000 Tesla workers and their suppliers to the factory, and did the disinfection work needed for the company to enter “closed loop production.

“They fought for three days in a row, working day and night without ceasing to ensure that the workers of our company could return to the factory,” Tesla said in a letter. The company will build a new factory in the vicinity of the same area, ready to increase the annual capacity of 450,000 car, including the Model 3s and Model Ys, to become “the world’s largest shipping center”, the letter said.
