A tragic incident unfolded in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar as a massive fire broke out at a hand glove manufacturing company, resulting in at least six fatalities. The blaze ignited around 2:15 a.m. at the factory located in the Waluj MIDC area. The fire department responded to the call and discovered that the entire factory was engulfed in flames.

Fire officer Mohan Mungse stated, “We received a call at 2:15 a.m. When we reached the incident site, the entire factory was on fire. Locals informed us that six people were trapped inside. Our officers entered and the bodies of six people have been recovered.”

Earlier reports suggested that at least five workers were trapped in the building, and the fire department later confirmed six fatalities. The workers were reportedly sleeping inside the facility when the fire erupted. The operation to extinguish the fire was ongoing, and the exact cause of the incident was yet to be determined.

This tragic incident follows another fire at a chemical factory in Navi Mumbai on Thursday, where a chemical factory was destroyed. The cause of that fire is also under investigation.
