Cold Wave Grips Delhi as Winter Chill Persists

The national capital, New Delhi, experienced an extension of the ongoing cold wave on Wednesday, with a thin layer of fog enveloping the city. As the minimum temperature dropped, residents expressed their experiences of the harsh cold weather.
While some remarked that today’s weather was better compared to the previous week, others highlighted the challenges faced by locals, especially those with respiratory problems, due to the combination of cold, fog, and pollution.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8 degrees Celsius at Palam on Tuesday. The IMD scientist mentioned the normal temperature in northwest India but expected a slight drop in the coming days.
