Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET) 2024 Dates Rescheduled: New Exam Schedule Announced

New Delhi, August 19, 2024: Osmania University has announced the rescheduling of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET) 2024, shifting the exam dates to avoid clashing with the UGC NET 2024. The TS SET, originally set for August 28-31, will now be held on September 10, 11, 12, and 13, 2024.

The university has also revised the dates for the form editing option, which will now be available on August 23 and 24, 2024, instead of the previous August 8 and 9, 2024. Hall tickets for the exam will be available for download from September 2, 2024, as initially planned.

Osmania University conducts the TS SET on behalf of the Telangana state to screen candidates for the positions of Assistant Professor or Lecturer. The exam will be administered in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Eligible candidates include those currently pursuing or awaiting the final results of their Master’s Degree. However, provisional admission will be granted, and final eligibility for Assistant Professor or Lecturer positions will be confirmed only after candidates secure at least 55% in their Master’s degree.

The TS SET exam consists of two papers, both featuring objective-type questions. Paper I will have 50 compulsory questions, each carrying 2 marks, while Paper II will include 100 compulsory questions, also carrying 2 marks each. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Candidates are advised to stay updated with the latest information on the official TS SET website and prepare accordingly for the revised exam schedule.
