Too Many IDs? India Aadhaar Success Creates a New Problem

India Aadhaar system has been a big success, helping millions with identity verification. But now many government departments are creating their own unique ID systems making things more complicated instead of easier, says The Economist.

While digital IDs can help reduce corruption, these new IDs don’t always have the strong system that Aadhaar does. Instead, they increase costs, waste officials’ time, and make life harder for citizens who must manage multiple IDs. Aadhaar was meant to simplify things, but instead India’s government is making its bureaucracy even bigger.

Meanwhile, Global Times suggests that India should work more closely with China to boost its manufacturing industry. The article says Indian businesses could invest in China factories to get cheaper high-quality materials for their own production.

This partnership would also help India sell more raw materials to China, strengthening trade between the two countries. Instead of competing, India and China could benefit by working together, building trust, and improving their economies side by side.
