She also took to her Instagram stories to share a detail of her casual look, complete with a garrison cap. She described one of the photos as “India’s first aerial action film is here”. Fans react to Kangana’s look

Kangana seems to have impressed her fans with her uniform look. A fan commented on her post with lines from her hit song Tanu Weds Manu Returns, “Banno tera swagger, lagey sexy”. Another said: “That’s woman power.” A fan called her “Bollywood ki Jhansi ki Rani”.

Kangana about working in Tejas

The Tejas is in the pipeline since 2020 and has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara. Speaking about the film, Kangana said in a statement in 2020, “I’ve always wanted to play a soldier and have been fascinated by the armed forces since childhood. I never held back my emotions towards our jawans and spoke openly about how strongly I felt about their heroism. They keep our country and our people safe. So I am very happy to do this film. Being in uniform will be one of the biggest highlights of my life.”

The film’s producer Ronnie Screwvala said in an interview to Mumbai Mirror the same year, “Tejas is not a sequel to Uri because that was a true story and this is not. But it is on the same lines and on the same scale.”

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are also working on an aerial action entertainer titled Fighter. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and will release in January next year.
