The Desert Corps of the Indian Army has organized “Suraksha Manthan 2022”, in the areas of Border & Coastal Security in Jodhpur (Rajasthan). Manthan is co-chaired by Shri Pankaj Kumar Singh, IPS, Director-General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Director-General VS Pathania, Indian Coast Guard and Lieutenant General Rakesh Kapoor, General Officer Commanding Desert Corps and is attended by Army officials BSF and Coast Guard.
During the negotiations, aspects of collaboration, operational co-operation and order were developed to improve overall security in the International Boundary (IB) and coastal sectors. A shared training calendar was also established to achieve a high level of cooperation and cooperation between the defense forces. Current security threats and challenges, as well as shared mitigation responses, were discussed and these situations will now form part of future trials. It was also decided to build an enabling safety zone and to develop a roadmap to develop tangible strengths to achieve the same.
