A couple from Argentina, broke the record for the number of body modifications

Gabriela and Victor Hugo Peralta, a couple from Argentina, broke the record for the number of body modifications. So far, the duo has gotten 98 tattoos and other body modifications because they are passionate about them. According to the Guinness Book of Records, they first set the world record in 2014 with 84 edits. However, because they were excited about it, the duo continued to add tattoos and other modifications, bringing their total to 98 now.

Another addition to the Guinness Book of Records: About 24 years ago, Gabriela and Victor met at a motorcycle race in Buenos Aires, Argentina and fell in love. They knew then that they would spend the rest of their lives with their passion for body modifications and implants, some of which they admit are extremely painful.

Victor told the Guinness Book of Records: “For me, being a Guinness World Record holder is the prize that life gives me for my love of body art, and I am very grateful because this record helped me fulfill one of my big dreams: to travel to 20 countries, learning about different cultures and making new friends around the world.” In total, the couple has 50 piercings, eight microdermals, 14 body implants, five dental implants, four ear expanders, two ear screws and one forked tongue.
