Rajasthan: Schools to reopen, starting February

Jaipur: The state government, in its new COVID guidelines, said that the schools will start operating for class 10th to 12th from February 1 and classes 6th to 9th will resume from February 10.

It said that the students will have the option of in-class or online education.

Sunday’s public discipline curfew has been withdrawn and the markets and all other business establishments in the state will now be able to stay open till 10 pm, it further said. Night curfew will remain in effect from 11 pm to 5 am, every day.

As per the guidelines issued by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Abhay Kumar, students will be allowed to come to the campus only after the written consent of the parents/guardian.

It has been made mandatory for employers and office heads to declare in their office the number of persons who have received both the doses of vaccine, starting February 1.

The maximum number of guests in all kinds of gatherings have been capped at 100.

The new guidelines will come in effect from January 31.
