Actress Preity Zinta shared pictures of her children Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough after their ‘secular ceremony’. It is a ritual according to Hindu traditions when a child’s head is shaved for the first time. On Instagram on Monday night, Preity posted the photos and also wrote a note.

In the picture, Gia and Jai were sitting on the carpet and playing. They had their backs to the camera. While Gia wore a pale blue dress, Jai was seen in a gray T-shirt and turquoise shorts. The duo was apparently playing in Preity’s living room as several chairs were also seen nearby.
Preity writes a note
Preity shared the photo and captioned the post, “So the Mundan ceremony finally took place this weekend. For Hindus, the first shaving of a child’s hair is considered a gesture of purification from the memory of their previous birth and liberation from the past. Here Jai and Gia post their secular ceremony ( red heart emoji).” She also added the hashtags tradition, secular ceremony and ting. Bobby Deol posted a bunch of red heart emojis in response to the post.
Preity meets Nargis in LA
Preity also shared a video of her meeting actor Nargis Fakhri. The duo got together for lunch as Preity also posted pictures of their meal and the venue. In the clip, Nargis was seen in a floral printed pink shirt and jeans while Preity was seen in a blue shirt, pants and a hat.
