Udaipur, India – Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha have officially become husband and wife in a lavish wedding ceremony held at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on Sunday. The much-anticipated union between the entertainment world and politics was a star-studded affair, filled with grandeur and glamour.
The wedding festivities began with Raghav Chadha’s sehrabandi, a traditional pre-wedding ritual, held at The Taj Lake Palace, a spectacular heritage hotel located on the serene Lake Pichola. Following the ceremony, Raghav Chadha and his baaraat (wedding procession) embarked on a picturesque boat ride across Lake Pichola to reach The Leela Palace, where the main wedding ceremony was held.
The backdrop for the wedding ceremony was nothing short of breathtaking, with the golden rays of the setting sun casting a warm glow over the venue, creating a magical atmosphere. The couple exchanged their vows in the presence of close family members, friends, and several prominent politicians.
The guest list included renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra, tennis star Sania Mirza, and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Dignitaries from the political world also graced the occasion, with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and Yuva Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray joining Raghav Chadha’s baaraat. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh was among the esteemed guests from the groom’s side.
However, one notable absence from the wedding was Parineeti’s cousin, global superstar Priyanka Chopra, along with her husband Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti. Despite not being able to attend the festivities in person, Priyanka Chopra conveyed her best wishes to Parineeti through an Instagram post, hinting at her absence from the celebrations.
