Islamabad: An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 shook Pakistan on Saturday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The tremors were felt at 12:57 am (IST), with the NCS reporting that the earthquake’s depth was recorded at 190 kilometers.
In a statement posted on X, the NCS provided details: “Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.7, Occurred on 17-02-2024, 00:57:09 IST, Lat: 35.67 & Long: 71.90, Depth: 190 Km, Location: Pakistan.” As of now, no casualties have been reported. Further information is awaited.
