The first tropical storm in the eastern Pacific is approaching southern Mexico

The first hurricane season in the eastern Pacific intensified Sunday as it circled along the southern coast of Mexico, with strong winds of 110 mph (177 km / h) expected to be severe before the storm hit Monday.”More resilience is expected within the next 12 to 24 hours and Agatha is predicted to be a major hurricane when it arrives off the southern coast of Mexico on Monday,” the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Florida said. About 5,000 tourists are expected to be in the influential area, which is home to some of the most famous beaches.The storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall to the southern states of Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Guerrero, the NHC said, which could cause “life-threatening floods and mudslides.”
