Trump Takes Aim at Kamala Harris Promises Border Security and Economic Reforms Ahead of Election

Just days before the U.S. presidential election former President Donald Trump held a rally in North Carolina where he sharply criticized Vice-President Kamala Harris his Democratic opponent. Trump claimed Harris would “open the border” and allow an influx of migrants, gangs, and criminals if she were to win.

Speaking to an energized crowd, Trump stated, “Everything Kamala says is a lie she has no vision, no ideas, and no solutions.” He accused Harris of focusing solely on blaming him for various issues rather than offering real solutions. He added, “If she ever won, she would open the border on the first day. I don’t know why, nobody knows why.”

Trump also emphasized his own commitment to “restoring prosperity and security” for the U.S., promising to end what he termed a “migrant invasion.” He outlined his plans to cut taxes for workers and small businesses, eliminate taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security for seniors, and strengthen America’s sovereignty. “The day I take the oath of office, the migrant invasion ends, and the restoration of our country begins,” he said.

Accusing Harris of failing to address the country’s economic issues, Trump argued that her plans would burden American families with massive tax increases. “Kamala talks about fixing the economy,” he remarked, “She is in office. Why is she not doing it now?”

Trump continued with promises to make the U.S. “wealthy and affordable again,” pledging “the best jobs, the biggest paychecks, and the brightest economic future the world has ever seen.”

As Trump and Harris remain neck and neck in the race, recent polling by the New York Times and Siena College shows the candidates tied at 48 percent in the popular vote, reflecting the intense competition leading up to the November 5 election.

In India, spiritual leader Mahamandelshwar Swami Vedmutinand Saraswati performed rituals for Trump’s victory, showing international interest in the outcome. With Trump seeking a return to the White House and Harris aiming to make history as the first female president, both candidates are pulling out all stops as the U.S. prepares for what may be one of the closest races in recent history.
