Japan’s foreign minister to skip G20 meeting in India

Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will skip the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting scheduled for this week in New Delhi, India, a Japanese government official said.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Japan will be represented at the meetings by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Kenji Yamada.
