At the onset of the southwest rainfall in almost all parts of the country, the Indian Meteorological Department predicted ‘heavy and extremely heavy’ rains in isolated areas east of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, Karnataka coast and Kerala Tuesday.

In their forecast, IMD said heavy rains were expected in isolated areas in Jammu and Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad (Kashmir captured in Pakistan) and Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Arunacham Pradesh, Ass , Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura and Gujarat.“With southwest hurricanes covering the whole of India, heavy rainfall is intense in all provinces. The central and northwestern parts of India have experienced a temporary decline in rainfall operations, but that will resume on Tuesday, ”said IMD chief executive officer.

The Met Department also predicts thunderstorms and lightning, accompanied by wind speeds of up to 30-40 km / h, in isolated areas over the Andaman and Nicobar islands, as well as lightning thunderstorms in isolated areas over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
