Former ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar to be released from jail

Former ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar and her husband were granted interim relief by an Indian court on Monday in connection with an alleged loan fraud case involving the bank and Videocon Group, her lawyer said.

The Kochhars were arrested by India‘s Federal Investigation Agency last month and will be released from prison on a warrant. The Bombay High Court said the arrest was illegal, sources told reporters.
