Himanta Biswa Sarma: Assam govt will launch Project Sadbhavana on February 1

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, said that the Assam government will launch the ‘Project Sadbhawana’ on February 1, 2022. The project is aimed of clearing all pending files lying in the state secretariat since the 1990s.

The goal is to clear all pending files from 1990s to May 10, 2021, and move from ‘governance’ to ‘e-governance’, thus making governance citizen-friendly through ‘Project Sadbhawana’.

“As per the official release issued by the Assam Chief Minister’s Office, it may be noted that under the project, the files pending for several reasons for years will be disposed so that quick governance can be rendered to the people of the state. Under the project, all the pending files till the period of May 10, 2021, will be taken up for disposal,” reported ANI.

“Along with the project Sadbhawana, a Swachhata Abhiyan will also be launched in Janata Bhawan to give a facelift of cleanliness in all the departments in the Seretariat,” the report further said.
