Punjab Gangster Sukha Duneke Reportedly Killed in Canada: Echoes of Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s Murder in Inter-Gang Warfare

Intelligence reports from Canada have suggested that Sukhdool Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke, a member of the Davinder Bambiha gang from Moga district, Punjab, has allegedly been killed in a case of inter-gang rivalry. Although unconfirmed, reports indicate that the incident took place in Winnipeg, Canada. This development mirrors the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who fell victim to inter-gang warfare in Surrey on June 19, with assailants firing approximately 15 bullets into Nijjar.

Duneke had reportedly fled to Canada from India in 2017, using forged documents, and had seven criminal cases registered against him. His alleged involvement in criminal activities in Punjab and neighboring states had earned him a spot on the list of most wanted criminals.

Notably, there are currently 29 gangsters from the Punjab region and beyond seeking refuge outside India to evade legal authorities. These individuals left India using various methods, including Indian passports, fake-forged travel documents, or the Nepal route. Canada is prominently featured among the countries offering shelter to these fugitives, despite accusations against India regarding the political assassination of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) member Hardeep Singh Nijjar, which lacks substantial evidence.

Here is a list of gangsters sheltered in various countries:

Canada:

Arshdeep Singh aka Arsh Dala from Moga

Charnjeet Singh aka Rinku Bihla from Barnala

Gurpinder Singh aka Babu Dala from Ludhiana

Lakhbir Singh aka Landa from Tarn Taran

Ramandeep Singh aka Raman Judge from Ferozepur

Satveer Singh Warring aka Sam from Fazilika

Snover Dhillion from Amritsar

Sukhdool Singh aka Sukha Diuneka from Moga (allegedly murdered)

United States:

Amrit Bal from Kapurthala

Anmol Bishnoi from Fazilika

Darmanjit Singh from Amritsar

Gaurav Patyal from Chandigarh

Gurjant Singh from Tarn Taran

Harjot Singh from Abohar

Karanvir Singh from Ludhiana

Kinderbir Singh from Tarn Tarn

Rakjesh Kumar from SBS Nagar

Rashpal Singh from Tarn Taran

Satinderjit Singh aka Goldy Brar from Mukhtsar Sahib

Australia:

Gurjant Singh aka Janta from Fatehgarh Sahib

Gagandeep Singh from Ludhiana

Pakistan:

Harvinder Singh Sandhu aka Rinda from Nanded

Malaysia:

Jackpal Singh aka Lali Dhaliwal from Moga

Jagjeet Singh from Ludhiana

UAE:

Kuldeep Singh from SBS Nagar

Hong Kong:

Ramanjit Singh from Bhatinda

Italy-Portugal:

Rohit Godara from Bikaner, Rajasthan

Indonesia:

Sandeep Grewal from Ludhiana

Germany:

Supreet Singh from Batala

Duneke was allegedly involved in aiding, funding, and strengthening the Davinder Bambiha gang in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan. Additionally, he was inclined towards pro-Khalistan outfits but primarily engaged in extortion calls and contract killings. Over 20 criminal cases, including murder and other heinous crimes, were registered against him in Punjab and neighboring states.

This development highlights the challenges faced by authorities in curbing the activities of these gangsters operating across international borders.
