HanuMan Triumphs: Enters ₹100 Crore Club in India

The superhero saga “HanuMan” has scripted a remarkable success story at the box office, entering the prestigious ₹100 crore club in India within a week of its release. Helmed by Prasanth Varma, the film features a stellar cast including Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vinay Rai in lead roles.

Domestic Box Office Brilliance

“HanuMan” amassed a staggering ₹99.85 crore in its first week across various languages, breaking down as follows: Telugu – ₹73.89 crore, Hindi – ₹24.5 crore, Tamil – ₹78 lakh, Kannada – ₹52 lakh, and Malayalam – ₹16 lakh.

On the ninth day, the film continued its box office dominance, raking in an additional ₹14.25 crore nett in India, consolidating its total earnings to ₹114.10 crore.

Global Box Office Triumph

The film has not only conquered the Indian box office but has also soared past the ₹100 crore mark worldwide.

Primeshow Entertainment, the production house, proudly announced the global success on its official platform, highlighting the film’s exceptional achievement in just four days with limited screens and affordable ticket prices.

Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU)

“HanuMan” is more than a blockbuster; it marks the inception of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, setting the stage for a new era in superhero storytelling.

Set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, the Telugu-language superhero film delves into the young protagonist gaining superpowers through Lord Hanuman’s grace and his subsequent quest to defend his people and religion.

Teja Sajja, one of the film’s lead actors, expressed his excitement about portraying a superhero character. He highlighted the film’s blend of superhero action sequences, comedy, and a connection with Indian history, creating an entertaining cinematic experience.

Sajja emphasized the film’s unique approach in fusing Inian “itihaas” with the superhero concept, making it a compelling and enjoyable watch for audiences of all ages.
